The greatest deception in history will not come through obvious lies—it will come through counterfeit truth. Jesus warned that false christs and false prophets would arise and, if it were possible, deceive even the very elect (Matthew 24:24).
That is why our faith must never rest on feelings, traditions, popular opinions, or what any person claims to have received from God. Every teaching, preacher, prophecy, and spiritual experience must be tested against the unchanging Word of God.
📖 1 John 4:1 – “Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God…”
📖 Isaiah 8:20 – “To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.”
Stay anchored in Scripture. God’s Word is the only sure foundation that will keep us from deception in these last days.
