Luke 9 – The Mission of the Twelve and the Call to Follow Christ

Called to Carry the Cross

The twelve are sent to heal and preach.
Jesus feeds five thousand with five loaves and two fish.
Peter declares Jesus is the Christ.
Jesus is transfigured before Peter, James, and John.
He foretells His death and calls us to carry the cross.
